Tanya Jenkins

“I am a 17 year veteran of the Evanston Police Department currently assigned to ETHS as a School Resource Officer. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and a mentor for Evanston Scholars were I also serve on the Mentor Steering Committee. I am the proud wife of William Jenkins, Jr and we are both huge fans of the University of Alabama and we love to travel. I am a graduate of Birmingham Southern College with a B.S. in Business Administration, Finance and Loyola University Chicago with a M.J. in Child and Family Law and Policy. I am proud to be a part of the Curt’s Café Board because I believe in supporting youth and helping them succeed. I believe in mentorship and support for youth because I think it makes more of a difference than we realize. It’s a good feeling for me to give to others with no expectations other than the belief that someone needed help and I helped.”
