B yron is currently the Executive Chef at Curt’s Café and has been with Curt’s for nine years. At the age of 16, he fell in love with the culinary world while working his first job in the kitchen. After working in the culinary field for a few years, Byron decided to attend the culinary school of Le Cordon Blue and graduated in 2009. Over the years has continued to work in a variety of kitchens in different restaurants and even as a private chef for sororities/fraternities at Northwestern University. When he came across an opening for a Head Chef position at Curt’s Café, he did some research and knew he wanted this new opportunity. Byron felt he could use some of his personal experiences and his culinary skills to help mentor the students. He wants to make a difference in the youth and community and to show the students there is more out there than what they see.
