Our Program

Curt’s Cafe is 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is also a fully operaing café, offering a variety of breakfast, lunch, coffee drinks, and catering services. Our mission is to empower underserved youth by providing them with essential workforce and life skills training to help improve their future outcomes.

First, we have experienced managers who oversee the cafés, providing hands-on training for our participants in both back-of-house and front-of-house operations. In addition, our Social Service Providers work closely with participants to ensure they receive the resources they need while in the program and teach valuable life skills.

Second, because we meet our participants where they are, their experience levels vary. We always ensure that qualified staff members are available to help run the cafés and support their growth. Participants also have the opportunity to engage with the community through cultural exposure trips, broadening their horizons and enhancing their personal development.
