We are excited to announce that our Evanston Café has fully reopened its doors after several months of extensive renovations! We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our loyal customers for their understanding and patience during this period of construction and unpredictability. Your continued support means the world to us. We are particularly grateful to the State of Illinois and the City of Evanston for their generous support in funding this project, as well as to all the community members who contributed to our renovation fund, helping us acquire new, comfortable furniture that better serves our patrons.

To celebrate the completion of our renovations, we invite you to join us for a special re-opening event on Wednesday, October 29th, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. This festive occasion will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the new chapter of our café, as well as complimentary drinks and a selection of delicious hors d’oeuvres for you to enjoy.

In addition to celebrating our renovated café, we are excited to announce a new collaboration with Evanston Made to support Evanston Artists.

Starting this month, Evanston Made will exhibit and sell art by Evanston Artists in the newly renovated Curt’s Cafe on Central Street in Evanston. Evanston Made is a local arts nonprofit that brings opportunity and visibility to Evanston artists through programs, events and partnerships with local businesses like Curt’s Café, to exhibit and sell art. Exhibits will be curated by Anna Marie Crovetti and rotate every two months. All art will be for sale and this opportunity is open to Evanston Made members.

The premier exhibit includes artists; Cie Bond, Fran Joy, Liz O’Connor-Bolich, Ren Picco-Freeman and Sholo Beverly.

We can’t wait to welcome you back into a revitalized space where you can relax, socialize, and enjoy your favorite coffee and treats. Thank you once again for being an essential part of our journey!
