At Curt’s you’ll find freshly brewed coffee, homemade pastries, inspired sandwiches, soups, and salads in a warm and welcoming home away from home. We strive to use local products and vendors and we make everything possible from scratch. Click here to peruse our menu; we’re open Monday – Saturday from 7:30 – 3 p.m.
We’ve got free WiFi, and we also offer, for community meetings, book clubs, knitting groups — you name it — the Living Room, our large and comfortable adjoining space. It’s available free of charge — just call 847 868-8385 for more information.
But we’re providing something else besides delicious treats and a comfortable space: we’re also serving up good portions of hope and opportunity. Curt’s Café provides training, in food service and life skills, for at-risk youth in Evanston. Click here to learn more about our program. Students at Curt’s will learn valuable, employable skills; they’ll be tutored in subjects ranging from computer literacy to job readiness to food history; and they’ll be mentored by food service professionals and other caring adults. Our students receive a stipend while they’re learning and we’ll provide job placement assistance when they complete their training.
Here at Curt’s our philosophy is to “dine with purpose”: enjoy great food and help our community at the same time. We hope to make Curt’s a vibrant gathering spot, and a positive force for good, here in Evanston. Please stop in for a visit — we look forward to seeing you!
